Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), has appointed David Hoantee Peng as head of Asia Pacific ex Japan.
Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Roger Bartley, vice chairman - investments, based in London and will be responsible to develop LGIM’s growing business in the Asia Pacific region.
Mr Peng has three decades of experience in the Asian financial-services sector and joins LGIM from Standard Life Aberdeen, where he was head of Asia for more than seven years.
Since the launch of LGIM Asia in 2012, LGIM’s presence in the Asia Pacific market has grown significantly, in line with strategic commitment to be a global provider of investment solutions.
Legal & General Investment Management has total assets of £983.3 billion and works with a wide range of global clients, including pension schemes, sovereign wealth funds, fund distributors and retail investors.
