Trading and investment platform appoints new SIPP provider
09/10/2017 , News Team

Trading and investment platform, interactive investor, has appointed BW SIPP as its new Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPP) provider.

The partnership with BW SIPP, a division of pension provider Barnett Waddingham, intends to provider interactive investor’s customers with an improved service which is easy to use, digitally-enabled and fairly priced.

In addition, new functionality will be phased in over the coming months, giving customers easier access to the information they need to help them to maximise their pension provision.

The BW SIPP team is building and developing a new digital online SIPP for interactive investor, using technology which can manage the platform’s scalable business model.

Chief executive of interactive investor, Richard Wilson, commented: “We have made significant progress towards our ambition to become the retail platform of choice for engaged investors, with great products and great value.

“Barnett Waddingham will play an important part in this through the provision of its market-leading SIPP, and we look forward to our customers benefitting from this new service, giving them greater control over their financial futures.”

In June of this year, interactive investor acquired TD Direct Investing. Customers can open a new SIPP as of today (9 October 2017) with interactive investor customers following in December.

interactive investor offers services and products which investors can use to research, learn about and trade UK and international markets. Meanwhile, Barnett Waddingham provides actuarial, administration and consultancy services, working with corporates, trustees and individuals in the private and public sector.
