Blackrock taps UBS for top regional private banking role

BlackRock has appointed a senior UBS executive, Tan-Yuan Kueh as head of its private bank business and strategic client development in Asia.

Ms Kueh will help drive the strategic direction for BlackRock’s private banking and key client relationships in the region.

She will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Damien Mooney, head of Asia retail business.

At UBS Securities, Ms Kueh was chief executive of its wealth management business for China. She was with UBS for three years and Macquarie Group for ten years before that.
